CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Cancellation of orders needs to be done in writing prior to GNTC paying for the goods at our suppliers and prior to delivery taking place.

No refunds will be given on orders cancelled after delivery and on any special orders. Any order is subject to cancellation by GNTC should the products on order become unavailable or our supplier is out of stock.

RETURNS
Should you wish to return your product it is required to be within 7 days from date of delivery. GNTC conforms to the consumer protection act and as such there is not general right of return and the terms of Section 55 of the CPA shall apply and a handling fee of 25% of the purchase price shall be charged. GNTC will act as an intermediary between you and the supplier regarding the item that you wish to return.

GOODS EXEMPT FROM BEING RETURNED
Certain goods are exempt from being returned. These include Software, CD’s and Printer cartridges shall not be accepted for return, unless they are faulty. Returns of items with damage to any of the packaging, or any identification numbers or the barcode and serial number shall not be accepted. Please ensure that all purchases of Software, CD’s and printer cartridges are compatible with your current hardware prior to purchasing any items of this nature. DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA)
Should a product arrive damaged or dead on arrival GNTC will arrange collection of the product. Depending on the manufactures policy, and once the item has been checked and the fault confirmed, the item will be repaired, returned or replaced.

It is your responsibility to contact us with 48 hours of the delivery of the product to inform us that there is an issue with the product delivered. As soon as we receive the item and it has been tested to confirm the fault, the product will either be repaired or returned or a replacement will be sent (dependent on the manufacturer's policy).

DEFECTIVE ITEMS
Defective items can be returned within 7 days of delivery, you will be required to return the good using a reputable carrier and insure the entire shipment. GNTC will not refund shipping unless the delivery was made in error by GNTC. All returned products will need to be in resalable condition, and include all original packing and contents of the packaging such as manuals and accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any components are found to be missing GNTC will not accept the return.

WARRANRY
All products on this web site are sold under the manufacturer’s warranty, and will be sent directly to the relevant distributor or manufacturer for repair or replacement should the item still be under guarantee. All goods sold by GNTC carry a minimum of 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. GNTC will repair, replace or refund any product deemed to be faulty if reported within 7 days after acceptance of goods. Manufacturers must be contacted directly for warranty queries after 7 days of acceptance of goods. Customers who wish to make a warranty claim must comply with the manufacturer's instructions and warranty procedures.

All warranties are dealt with in the same way as if this item is purchased from any authorized retail outlet. The warranty will be null and void should the product have been tampered with in any way or any stickers or seals removed. Invoices will need to be included with all warranty returns. After checking the product, it will be at the sole discretion of GNTC and it suppliers to replace, repair or refund the product. Warranty does not cover damage caused from natural disasters and there will be no Warranty if the serial number label is missing, damaged or tampered with.

PRODUCTS SHIPPED IN ERROR
If you receive a product that is different to the one you ordered, you need to contact us immediately within 24 hours of receiving the item/s. GNTC will make arrangements for the product to be returned and for the correct product to be delivered to you as soon as possible. If the incorrect product is delivered to you, do not remove the product from its original packaging, open or use the product in any way. If the product has been opened or used in any way and is not in returned in its original packaging, GNTC will charge you 25% of the original purchase price as a handling fee.

REFUNDS (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days of us receiving payment from our supplier.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)

SALE ITEMS (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHNAGES (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@gntc.co.za or call us on 015 793 0140 or alternatively on 076 560 9407

GIFTS
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

SHIPPING
All cost relating to the return of items, including but not limited courier cost, shall be payable by the customer. All items being returned need to be covered by your insurance for damage, theft or loss in transit and shall not be accepted for return should the goods arrived damaged.

Shipping costs are non-refundable with the exception of goods being delivered in error. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

COOLING OFF PERIOD
There shall be no “cooling off period” as per the provisions contained in section 44 of the ECT ACT as there is no payment received directly through the web site and a quotation is issued prior to the product being purchased. All orders are selected and specifically ordered by the customer and processed as such.
